WILLINGHAM -Charles A. Willingham, age 73, of Auburn, GA passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 in the Lawrenceville Chapel with Dr. Chip Wheeler officiating. A burial will follow at Eternal Hill Memory Gardens. A native of Scottdale, GA. He graduated from Avondale High School Class of 1967. Charles was retired from Allison and Smith as an Electrician. He was a family man and loved coaching his children in youth sports and a big history buff. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Albert James and Edith Anne (Martin) Willingham. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Doris Elizabeth (Ford) Willingham of Auburn, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and David Guthrie of Auburn, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Kim Willingham of Pendergrass, GA; son, David Willingham of Buford, GA; grandchildren, Christopher and Kate Guthrie, Morgan and Anton Skudarnov, Amberly Willingham, Abby Willingham, Eddie and Cassie Denton, Maci Willingham, Dylan Willingham; great-grandchildren, Annabeth Denton, Lila Guthrie; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Linda Willingham of FL; brother-in-law, Earl Robertson of Grayson; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty and Jerry Guthrie of Hoschton and several nieces and nephews.
