Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cox Funeral Home - Hamilton on Feb. 21, 2026.
Charles David Wilson, age 64, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

"Dave," as he was best known, was born on November 4, 1961 in Fort Belvoir, VA, the son of Willett Lavert Wilson and Christine Frances Wilson. Growing up in a military family, he and his family moved frequently during his youth. He served his country with honor in the US Navy and was honorably discharged. During his Navy service he was stationed on the USS Seattle. Following his military service, Dave embarked upon a long and successful career as an HVAC Technician, ultimately retiring with nearly forty years of dedicated service. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. He enjoyed his time playing golf with the Over the Hill Golf Group and the Dixie Seniors. He loved to go lobster diving in the Florida Keys. He also enjoyed a good game of Spades. Above all, he loved his family and his dogs.

He is preceded in death by his father, and two of his beloved dogs, Stoli and Rusty.

He is survived by his loving wife, Suzann M. Wilson; mother, Christine F. Wilson; siblings, Steve P. Wilson and Rebecca Ann Davis; many nieces and nephews; and his loyal canine companions Baxter and Stella.

Mr. Wilson will be interred with military honors at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 2:30 PM.
