It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Douglas Wright, who left this world at the age of 61. Born on August 18, 1964, in Germany, Charles was raised with strong values and a sense of duty that would serve him well throughout his life. His journey brought him to Katy, Texas, where he spent his final days surrounded by family and friends.

Charles was a proud graduate of Parkland High School. In December 1988 from Southwest Texas State University. His dedication to learning was matched only by his unwavering integrity and tenacity, characteristics that defined both his personal and professional life. Charles was known for his hardworking nature, loyalty, and trustworthiness, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.

In 1993, Charles married the love of his life, Michelle Wright, in a heartfelt ceremony at St. Luke's Church in New Mexico. Together they built a beautiful family, welcoming their daughter Tess and son Ian into the world. He took immense pride in being a husband and father, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones.

Though Charles had many interests, his heart was especially drawn to the Dallas Cowboys, a passion that ignited a love for football that he shared with family and friends. He had a lifelong addiction to anything peanut butter chocolate, a favorite food that often found its way into family gatherings. His favorite color, Cowboys Blue, reflected not only his sports allegiance but also his vibrant personality that brought joy to those around him.

Charles was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Harry and Irmgard "Omi" Wright. He is survived by his devoted wife, Michelle; his cherished children, Tess and Ian; and a host of friends and family whose lives he touched throughout his journey.

In this time of sorrow, let us remember Charles Douglas Wright for the integrity, hard work, and love he embodied. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
