Charles E. Zdroik

Charles "Chuck" E. Zdroik, of Rosholt, passed away at home on May 12, 2024, at the age of 63.
Chuck was born May 19, 1960, in Stevens Point; son of the late Eugene and Jane (Hmielak) Zdroik. He grew up in the Rosholt area, graduating from Rosholt High School in 1978.
Chuck's family was in the potato business, so it was only fitting that he worked alongside his family at Lakeview Farms, Inc, until 1999. He then went on to work for Rightway & Stratford Propane, delivering propane and meeting many new friends along the way. On June 4, 1988, Chuck married the love of his life, Karen Garski. They welcomed two sons, Kyle and Quin, and worked hard to create a beautiful life for their family.
Chuck had a love for the outdoors and just being in the beauty of nature. He had a passion for fishing year round and always looked forward to the guys' annual "Ice Out" fishing trip. Another favorite family tradition was their annual trip to St. Germain. Chuck also enjoyed adding to nature's beauty with his gardening skills. He was proud to keep his property in "park like" condition. Most importantly, Chuck loved his family; he looked forward to seeing his children and grandchildren, spending time together and making memories. He reveled in his role as Grandpa! His light hearted and fun personality was shared with family, as well as friends, and was demonstrated through his beloved nicknames he gave to those he loved. He always looked forward to his weekly phone calls and visits with his sons, brothers, nephews, and cousins, catching up on the latest "goings on".
Chuck is survived by his wife, Karen; his sons, Kyle (Jeanie) Zdroik and Quin Zdroik; his granddaughter, Emma Zdroik; and his grandsons, Benjamin Zdroik and Baby Boy Zdroik, arriving this summer. He is further survived by his brothers, Bob (Amy), John (Lynn), Jim (JoAnn), Joe (Lynn), Rick (Edie), and Greg (Shannon) Zdroik; sisters, Clare (Kevin) Cullen and Nancy (Paul) Koch; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Jane; aunts; uncles; nephews; and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 17, 2024, at St. Adalbert Catholic Church - 3315 St. Adalberts Rd., Rosholt, WI. Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories at the church on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at St. Adalbert's Parish Cemetery.
