Charlie Gibson Obituary

Charlie co-owned Gibson Service Center with his wife, which originally started on Water Street as Gibson Gulf. He loved racing cars, riding Harleys, and tinkering in his shop. Charlie's best attributes were his generosity, free spirit, love of life, and most importantly family.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Ryan Gibson, wife Ivy and their daughter, Meredith; his mother-in-law, Sylvia Saunders; and his sister-in-law, Terri Moore and husband Kevin, their daughter Ashley Dailey and husband Adam, and their children Alston and Liza. He was preceded in death by a sister, Kitty Gibson Powell; father-in-law, Ronald Saunders; and a niece, Amanda Castleman.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Twiford Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Chad Thomas officiating. The service will be livestreamed at https://www.twifordfh.com/charlie-gibson/. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the funeral home lobby. Memorial donations may be made in Charlie's memory to a charity of one's choice.
