Charlie "Bug Man" Gregory

Charlie "Bug Man" Gregory, 71, of Nashville, TN, passed away February 17, 2026. He loved spending time on the lake fishing and playing guitar. He is preceded in death by his father, Charlie Gregory; brothers, Gary Gregory and James Gregory; son, Blake Gregory. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Lynn Gregory; son, Charlie Gregory; mother, Mary Thompson; grandchildren, Aaron (Sydney) Gregory and Eva Gregory; great-granddaughter, Blakely Gregory; brother, Mike Gregory.

A graveside service will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery in White House, TN at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 20, 2026. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Adoration Hospice. https://adorationhealth.com

My Charlie,

When you think of Charlie, you can't help but smile. Not only the Love of my life, but my whole Life. Yes, he made my life "whole". No matter when I was having a bad day or was sad or frustrated, he always had a way to make me feel better-to smile.

He encouraged me. He made me feel important and loved. He had a way of doing that to nearly everyone he met. Goodness just poured out of him!

One day Charlie came home from a customer's house and said, "Check this out!" The customer took a picture of Charlie with a bird on his head! He loved his customers and boy did his customers love him! I loved to hear all the stories about his customer's pets. Such good memories!

He was quite the jokester! Always making people laugh and smile. If you were fortunate to spend time with Charlie, that was a "good day". Carefree, never worried about anything. He lived for the day, and I sure loved that about him!

He loved his family, he loved his friends, and he loved his customers. He was a damn good man!

His love of fishing and nature. The time he spent in Wyoming while in the Air Force. So Many Stories! He could sit in a fishing boat all night and listen to all the night sounds. It didn't matter if he caught a fish or not! But if he did, it was damn good eating!

I could go on and on, but I think that everyone that was touched by Charlie was blessed. I know I am! We're going to miss you! Hope to see you soon. Love Lynn
