Mr. Charlie Wendell Manning, age 81, of Lafayette, TN, passed away on July 3, 2024, in Lafayette, TN. He was born December 10, 1942 to the late William Lee and Mary Leath Manning in Castalian Springs, TN.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Donna "Amons" Manning; siblings, Dottie Stewart, Billy Manning (Brenda), Donnie Manning (Linda) and Rita Gwaltney (Terry); children, Tonya Perdue (Paul), Anthony Sadler (Karen), Tari Crawford, Tabitha Meshaw (Leslie), Charles Manning (Jessica) and Amanda Manning; and 16 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Lee Manning and Mary C. (Leath) Manning; brother, Richard Manning; late wife, Linda J. (Slayton) Manning; and grandson, Anthony Sadler.
The service for Mr. Charlie Manning will be held on Monday, at 1:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. David Manning officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Park, Gallatin, TN. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, July 7 from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM service time at Woodard Funeral Home.
The family have entrusted Woodard Funeral Home with the care of their loved one.
