A graduate from Sneads High School and a retired Correctional Officer from the State of Florida. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Biloxi, Mississippi.
Charlie is survived by his son, Chuck Neel and wife, Tess; two daughters, Crystal Cloud and husband, Nick, and Carrie Poole and husband, Jerry; as well as nine grandchildren, Anna Kaye McAdam, Joshua Neel, Joseph Neel, Elisabeth Neel, Samuel Neel, Kaitlan Cloud, Ryan Cloud, Ava Cloud and Gracie Poole.
A graveside service will be 2 P.M., Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Cow Pen Pond Cemetery with Pastor Gary Gable officiating. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home will be directing.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the caring and compassionate Physicians who provided excellent care for many years, the staff of Marianna Health and Rehab Center and Jackson Hospital.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund or any charitable organizations of choice.

My first memory would have to be his funny personality making everyone laugh. I know he´s missed by his family and I´m sending prayers to them.

I went to school with Charlie and graduated with him. He was always joking around and he certainly loved to have fun!! He was also very supportive of me at age 18 with a particular life changing situation and I appreciated it very much. May he rest in peace!
