Charlie Roberts Obituary
Charles E. “Charlie” Roberts entered the heavenly gates on February 2, 2026, surrounded by family. He was born July 14, 1941, to Barney and Myrtle Roberts.
Charlie married the love of his life, Bonnie, in 1966, and they were blessed with two sons.
Charlie graduated from Union Hill schools and served his country during Vietnam in the Army.
He worked for Kroger, Safeway and Newsom's Grocery as a butcher. In later years, Charlie worked at Grubbs-Lloyd Funeral home Diana
He enjoyed spending time with his wife, family, friends but epically with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Charlie was proceeded in death by his parents, Barney and Myrtle Roberts and his son Darren Roberts.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, son Jason and wife Elizabeth, grandchildren Manda Roberts, Stephanie Garrett, Britney Simons, Raegan McFadden, Kattie Perry and Jayelan Roberts. Also, his great grandchildren Kayelynn Simons, Kolton Greer, Gabe Garrett, Hayden Roberts, Kylie Greer, Grant Greer, Rylin Munnerlyn, Brynlee Munnerlyn, Oliver Garrett, Harper Perry, Kami McFadden and brother Ray Roberts.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 6pm-8pm at Croley Funeral Home Diana.
Services will be Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 2pm at Walnut Creek Baptist Church with the Reverend Robbie Jackson officiating.
