Charlie Leon Tyler, 72, of Jacksonville departed this life on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at The Springs of Premier Health and Rehab in North Little Rock. Charlie was born May 31. 1952 in Lepanto, Arkansas to the late John Everett and Mary Elizabeth (Brown) Tyler. In addition to his parents, Mr. Tyler was preceded in death by a daughter, Bridgett Tyler; son, Shawn Tyler; sisters, Janie Elizabeth Barnett, Mary Ellen Gibbs; brothers, Larry "Buddy" Tyler, Gary "Tiny" Tyler, James Tyler, Donald "Pete" Tyler; and step-son, William Alan Brooks.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of thirty-five years, Brenda (Locke) Tyler; grandchildren, Tyler Roe of Jacksonville, Gavin Goree of Russellville, Dylan (Ember) Tyler of Sherwood, Kelsey (Jake) Lung of Paragould, Caiden Tyler of Cabot, Kray Brooks of Little Rock along with several great grandchildren. Other survivors include a step-son, John Brooks; brother, David (Tammy) Tyler, of Lepanto; sisters, Shirley (Angie Rodgers) Tyler, of Lepanto and Angela (Elmo) McKinness of Lepanto; along with a host of extended family and dearly loved friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 1504 N. JP Wright Loop Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076, 501-982-2136. Interment will follow at Sumner Cemetery in Cabot. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Pallbearers will be Dylan Tyler, Gavin Goree, Danny Andrews, Sam King, John Brooks and Glen Goree.

Really going to miss him. I remember him giving the kids change when they would come over and open the gate for him. Always a kind word and a kind heart. A truly wonderful man!
