CHARLOTTE ABBOTT Obituary
Charlotte Mae Abbott, age 75, of Middlesboro, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 19, 2023 while surrounded by her loving family.
She was born April 23, 1948 in Barbourville, Kentucky to the late Ira and Lilly Fuson Mason.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wentford Abbott, sisters Sue Mason, Shirley Partin, Diane Williams, and Sherry Mason, brothers Jay Edward Mason, Gene Mason, and Fred Mason, and brothers-in-law Juluis Ray Partin, Jim Tommilla, and Louie Williams.
Charlotte loved to drink coffee and read her Bible. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with her family. Charlotte loved singing and even traveled with her sisters in their singing group, the Singing Prayer Warriors. All who were blessed to know her will miss her so dearly.
Left to cherish her memory, loving son Jason Abbott and wife Angela, granddaughter Caitlin North and husband Holden, sisters Mary Tommilla, Donna Daniels and husband Paul, special aunt Irene Mason, special nieces Brianna Williams and Myra Williams, special friends Wanda Bailey and Alice Abbott, as well as a host of many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
The family of Charlotte Abbott will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 24, 2023 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 24, 2023 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Baker officiating.
Interment to immediately follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, Kentucky.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
