Charlotte Sanders Berry, 64, of Newberry, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at her home.
Born on October 22, 1961, in Newberry, she was the daughter of Peggy Reese Longshore and the late Philip Duffie Sanders. Charlotte was a graduate of Lander College and had been a registered nurse with Palmetto Health Hospice. Her profession allowed her to do what she enjoyed the most and that was helping others.
She was a member of Cross Point Church and was a faithful member of the weekly Bible Study. She enjoyed playing golf and fishing. She loved Newberry College and was a genuine follower of all of the college sports.
Charlotte is survived in addition to her mother, Peggy (Larry) Longshore of Pomaria by her son, Adam (Kendyl) Hudgens; a daughter, Amanda (Adam) Brewer of Clinton; brothers, Kevin (Susan) Sanders of Dacula, GA and Todd (Lisa) Sanders of Pomaria; grandchildren, Elijah Brewer, Malakye Brewer, Randi Hudgens and Saylor Hudgens and her step-mother, Phyllis Sanders of Silverstreet.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, February 13, 2026, at Cross Point Church by the Rev. Jeff O’Dell. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:30 pm – 2:45 pm at Cross Point Church. The family will be at the home of Larry and Peggy Longshore, 215 Summitt Drive, Pomaria.

Active pallbearers will be Kevin Sanders, Todd Sanders, Konnor Sanders, Adam Hudgens, Elijah Brewer and Adam Brewer.
