A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Charlotte Marie Hagan will begin at 12:00 PM Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Corinth Baptist Church in Dekalb, MS, with Reverend Allen Gibson officiating. Interment will follow graveside rites in the church cemetery. The Hagan Family will receive guests from 11:00 AM until 11:45 AM prior to funeral rites. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Hagan, 72, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at her home.
Mrs. Hagan was born February 26, 1953, in Meridian, MS. She was affectionately known as “Nanny” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to make homemade crafts and give them to her family and friends. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church where she was a very active member. She served as the WMU Director, served on the social committee, and was the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Leader.
Mrs. Hagan loved to cook for her family, especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas. She always made sure everyone had their favorite dish. She was known for her cornbread dressing, homemade mac and cheese, giblet gravy, potato salad, and dessert chocolate tower.
Mrs. Hagan is survived by her sons, Tim Hagan (Denise) of Columbus, MS, and Matt Hagan (Amanda) of Bowling Green, KY; her sisters, Sandra Everette (Billy Joe) of Hickory, MS and Paula Strebeck (Randy) of Hickory, MS; two brothers, Wayne Smith (Sara) of Enterprise, MS and David Smith (Melissa) of Collinsville, MS; a very special life-long friend of over 50 years, Ann Bland; her sister-in-law, Diane Davidson, of Meridian, MS; grandchildren, Garrett Hagan (Kayla) of Collinsville, MS, Gage Hagan of Meridian, MS, Gracin Hagan (Freedom) of Dekalb, MS, Matthew Hagan of Bowling Green, Ky, Haley Hagan (Eli) of Bowling Green, KY, Madison Hagan of Bowling Green, KY, Emma Trosclair of Bowling Green, KY, and Dalton and Kaitlyn Hocutt, both of Columbus, MS; great-grandchildren, Addelyn, Tatum, Garrisyn, Dallas, Gunner, and Maisyn Hagan; as well as a host of extended family members and friends.
Mrs. Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Roger Hagan; her grandson, Garrison Hagan; and her brother, Michael Collins.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Garret, Gage, Gracin, and Matthew Hagan; and Billy Haskins and Jonah Haskins.
The Hagan family suggests memorials be made as donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in lieu of flowers.
