Mrs. Charlotte B. Harrell, 79 of Lake City, died Sunday afternoon, October 30, 2005 at the North Florida Regional Hospital in Gainesville. The daughter of the late Steve and Clara Staats Schmitz., she retired in 1983 from Bell South after 36 years of Service and was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America. In her spare time, Mrs. Harrell enjoyed crocheting, a member of the Golden Age Project in Lake City, and was of the Lutheran Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Lonnie C. Harrell in 2003.

Mrs. Harrell is survived by two sons, Bill Harrell (Pennie) and Robert Harrell, both of Lake City, one daughter, Viola Okragleski (John), Ft. Lauderdale, FL, one sister, Roberta “Aunt Bert” Gramith, Lake City; seven grandchildren, Wayne Harrell (Kathy), Keith Harrell (Michelle), both of Lake City, Barbara Harrell, Ocala, FL, Christie Rodriguez (Louis), Ft. Bragg, NC, Scotty , Paul and Elizabeth Okragleski, all of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and ten great-grandchildren also survive.
