Charlotte A. Jacobsen, 80, of Kansas City, MO, formerly of St. Paul, NE, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018, at Tiffany Springs Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Kansas City, MO. Liturgy of the Word services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in St. Paul. Deacon Neil Baquet will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery Columbarium in St. Paul. A time to greet the family will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Peters Funeral Home in St. Paul. Charlotte Ann Jacobsen was born on February 19, 1938, at Farwell, the daughter of Charles and Alice (Curtis) Pavlik. She grew up in St. Paul, where she graduated from St. Paul High School. She was united in marriage to Norman R. Jacobsen on August 4, 1956, in St. Paul. Shortly after their marriage, she and Norman started a family and moved to California while he joined the Navy. They made their home in California until returning to St. Paul in 1960. They continued to grow their family while transferring to various towns, mostly in Nebraska with her husbands career, which included Holdrege, Fullerton, Sidney, Grand Island, Lexington, Omaha and Phoenix, AZ. Charlotte worked in banking in the majority of these cities. Charlotte loved tinkering with flowers, spending time with family, car rides (near and Far) and oddly enough – cleaning. There was no such thing as too clean. She is survived by her husband, Norman Jacobsen of Kansas City, MO; children and spouses, Rodney and Kim Jacobsen of Omaha, Crystal and Tim Klein of Kansas City, MO and Tim and Patty Jacobsen of Kansas City, MO; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Alice; step mother, Georgia Mae; sisters, Della Wilson and Bonnie Calvin; and brother, Larry Pavlik. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
