Gregory Clark Jacobsen, age 75, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025. He was born on July 21, 1950, in Silverton, Oregon, and spent the majority of his life in Independence, Oregon.

Greg was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Rita Jacobsen of 35 years; his children, Jennie Kime (Dan Kime), Erik Jacobsen (Livia Pickens), Corie Tedder, Carl Weathers; and his brothers, Mike Jacobsen and Neal Jacobsen. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, who brought endless joy and pride to his life.

Greg worked for many years as a truck driver, a career that reflected his strong work ethic and dedication. Outside of work, he was a pilot and an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed placing trail cameras in the wilderness to watch wildlife, always hoping to spot that perfect buck.

As a member of the Monmouth, Oregon Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, he found strength, faith, and lifelong friendships.

Greg will be remembered for his humor, warmth, and the love he shared with his family and friends. His spirit will live on in the stories told, the laughter shared, and the memories held close by those who knew him.
