Judy Jacobsen, born on May 14, 1952, in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home in Natchitoches, Louisiana, on October 14, 2025. Her life was characterized by an unwavering love for her family and a deep compassion for all living beings, particularly her beloved cats.
Judy was not only a devoted mother but also a cherished friend. She is survived by her two sons, Robert Noel and Mark Noel, who carry forward her legacy of love. Judy also leaves behind her partner, Frank Manausa, who brought joy to her later years, and her grandchildren—Cheyenne Noel, Carissa Noel, and Robert Hebert—who were a constant source of pride and happiness for her.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Robert and Rita Leger Goutreaux, as well as her husband, Oscar Manuel Jacobsen, III.
Judy's warmth and caring nature touched the lives of everyone around her. She will be remembered for the nurturing spirit she brought to her family and her profound affection for animals, which was evident in the many cats she cared for throughout her life. Her legacy of kindness and devotion will surely resonate within her family's hearts for generations to come. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
