Your mom was so kind. I remember when my husband and then 2 young daughters first came to Mound and going to St John's Church. Charlotte was the first one to welcome us into the church and to Mound. I then started working at Pres Homes and got to know Charlotte even better while she was living in the apartments and then the Assisted Living, she always made me feel more like a friend then worker and I also considered her a friend and someone I will never forget when we lived in Mound. My daughters loved hearing about the band all she did for Mound band as both of my daughters were in the Mound band. Daughters now age 23 and 25. Our family now lives in Elk River and I was so sad to read of her death.
Sorry for your loss, again Charlotte is someone our family will remember always.

We have such great memories of Charlotte – she was always upbeat, friendly and willing to lend a hand. She was such a good friend to our mother, Carol Faaberg, and our family. We will never forget all the time she put into the High School Band’s fruitcake sales – good times! She will always come to mind when we think of the good old days growing up in Mound.
Our condolences to your family,

Susie Schivone Nelson

I'll always remember what a wonderful cook she was - especially all the goodies she made for the Christmas Eve gatherings after late service at St. Johns.
