Charlotte Lookingbill

Charlotte Pauline Lookingbill, 92, of Taneytown Maryland, passed away on May 14, 2025, at Lorien Taneytown. Born June 22, 1932, in Taneytown, she was the daughter of the late George Milton and Edna Irene (Legore) Lookingbill. A 1949 graduate of Taneytown High School, Charlotte was a lifelong member at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, acting as a counselor, recorder, and assisting with various committees. She was active with Mite Society, Taneytown Senior Center, and was a past president of Women in Construction. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She is survived by 15 nieces and nephews. Charlotte was predeceased by siblings, Dorothy Hostetter, Francis, Glenn, Charles, and Earl Lookingbill; and numerous cousins. A Memorial Service celebrating Charlotte's life will be held 11 a.m., Friday, May 23, 2025 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 38 W. Baltimore St., Taneytown, MD 21787, with Pastor Stacy Marsh officiating. Interment at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charlotte's name to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 38 W. Baltimore St., Taneytown, MD 21787.
