Charlotte Kay McIe, age 77, of Lodi, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, February 20, 2026, following an extended illness. She was born on January 18, 1949, in Upshur County, West Virginia, and was the daughter of the late Delbert and Earnestine Bond.

She was united in marriage on June 14, 2002, to Ronnie McIe who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Donna Walton; three sons: Bobby Riley, John Riley and wife Gladys, and William Peck. Also, Kay is survived by 12 grandchildren: Rickey, Tina, Sara, Brittany, John, Charles, David, Jonathan, Ronald, Will, Lillith, and Luna. Also, she is survived by several great-grandchildren.

Kay is survived by four sisters: Lavern Shiflett of Walkersville, Lorraine Lowery of Franklin Kentucky, Linda Chidester and Bonnie Cutright of Rock Cave, two brothers: David Bond of Rock Cave and Thomas Bond of Buckhannon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Helen Bailey of French Creek, and Betty Elmer of Rock Cave, WV. One brother Micheal Bond of Upper Glade WV and, two sons: Rick Riley of Lewis County WV, and Joe Robinson of Upshur County WV. Also, two grandchildren who preceded her in death: Carrie and Carl Riley.

Kay was a member of the Buckhannon Seventh-day Adventist Church. She served in the National Guard, worked in Home Health Care, and was a devoted homemaker.

She loved collecting dolls, attending family reunions and enjoyed vacationing at the beach with her sister Betty.

Kay's family would like to extend a warm thank you to Kay's husband Ronnie, and Glen and Trisha McIe for the love and tender care they gave Kay during her battle with cancer.

The family will receive friends at the Buckhannon Seventh-day Adventist Church on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 10-11:00 AM, the funeral hour, with the Rev. Rick Cutright officiating. Interment will follow in the Hampton Cemetery.
