In Loving Memory of Charlotte G. "Nonie" Paul

October 26, 1934 – September 17, 2025

Charlotte G. Paul, lovingly known as Nonie, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025, at the age of 90. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Nonie was the heart of her family and a blessing to all who knew her.

Born on October 26, 1934, in Texas, Nonie grew up with a warm spirit and a giving heart. At the young age of 13, she married the love of her life, William David "Sonny" Paul, and together they built a beautiful life and lasting legacy. They shared decades of love, adventure, and hard work until Sonny's passing.

Nonie and Sonny made their home in New Mexico, where they raised their family and built businesses together, including an electric company, trailer parks, and real estate. Nonie had a remarkable work ethic, a creative mind, and a knack for making every place she touched feel like home.

She was a proud member of the Red Hat Society, San Juan business Association, the Ladies Auxiliary and Dreams Car Club all the while being a faithful Christian woman who lived her values daily. She found joy in simple pleasures-sitting on her patio to soak in the day, sharing laughter with family and friends, and being surrounded by her beloved animals who rarely left her side.

Nonie especially loved decorating her home, bringing warmth and beauty to everyday life and making holidays magical. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and her home was always filled with love, cheer, and the sparkle of the season.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sonny, and their daughter, Dede Paul Jaramillo and granddaughter Rebecca Paul. Nonie is survived by her son, David Ryan Paul (Windy Paul) her grandchildren, Chrystal Hazen, Johnny "JJ" Jaramillo (Alisha Jaramillo), Jellica Jaramillo, John David Paul and great-grandchildren Nevaeh Jaramillo (Gage Shryock), Ebony Hazen, Jon Hazen, Angel Jaramillo (Sean Heath), Calley Team, Javin Jaramillo, Kaydanne "KK" Mogan and Rhiannon Jaramillo who were the light of her later years.

Nonie's kindness, strength, and unwavering love will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be remembered not only for the life she built but for the joy, comfort, and faith she shared with all who were blessed to know her.

Her life was a true celebration of love, family, and faith-a legacy that will continue to shine brightly through the generations she leaves behind.
