CHARLOTTE SUE PHILLIPS
Charlotte Sue Phillips, age 92, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024.
A memorial service will be held at at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Blue River Bible Church, 15608 Fairchild Drive Kansas City, Missouri 64147.
Charlotte was born in Polo, Missouri on January 12, 1932 to Earl Hauser and Grace (Thompson) Hauser. Charlotte graduated high school and continued on receiving her Master's in Education from Central Missouri State Teacher's College (Currently UCM). For thirty years, she taught elementary students in the Clinton Public Schools. For many years, she attended church with her late husband Jim at Mt. Zion Methodist until they ended up at Blue River Bible Church in Kansas City, Missouri. Charlotte was active in her church life, teaching Sunday School and Bible Studies. She was also a teaching leader with Bible Study Fellowship for 12 years.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Grace Hauser; loving husband, Jim Phillips; two sisters, Nancy McCollough and Shirley Halbur; and one nephew, Mike McCollough.
She is survived by her two sons, Jeff Phillips (Sheryl) and Jon Phillips (Marsha); grandchildren, Bryce Phillips (Katie), Alexis Phillips, Brandon Phillips, Marcus Phillips (Lynsey), and Jenae Phillips; great grandchildren, Joel and Miles Phillips; and nephews and niece, Jim McCollough (Charlotte), Steve Lacey (Ann), and Pam Thomason (John).
