Charlotte Ward

Charlotte Mae Ward, daughter of the late Elsie Mae Dudley and Jim Hawkins, was born on June 6, 1946, in Webster County, Missouri, and departed this life on June 29, 2025, at her home in Hartville, Missouri, at the age of 79.

Charlotte grew up in Niangua, Missouri, and Fordland, Missouri. She worked in several factories throughout the years, including H.D. Lee in Lebanon, Seymour, and Hartville, Missouri, Tyson Foods in Springfield, Missouri, Hagel Industries in Marshfield, Missouri, Tobin Hamilton Shoe Factory in Mansfield, Missouri, and Thomas Apparel in Hartville, Missouri.

Charlotte was united in marriage to Clinton Jr. Ward on October 15, 1967, in Webster County, Missouri. Through the years, Charlotte enjoyed sewing quilts and putting puzzles together with her family. She loved having family get togethers and spending time with her grandchildren.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Elsie Mae Dudley and Jim Hawkins, her husband, Clinton Jr. Ward, one son, Randall Ward, one granddaughter, Shayla Ward, and one step-granddaughter, Kathy Jo.

Charlotte is survived by five children, Dwayne Ward and wife, Tina, of Lebanon, Missouri, Paula Yonts and husband, David, of Lebanon, Missouri, Janet Cox and husband, Jerry, of Seymour, Missouri, Renae Milford and husband, Tom, of Marshfield, Missouri, and Dale Ward and wife, Vanessa, of Hartville, Missouri, one brother, James Dudley and wife, Marilyn, of Hartville, Missouri, one sister, Wanda Oesterreicher of Lebanon, Missouri, 20 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and many other extended family and friends who will miss her.
