Born on October 8, 1941, in Louisville, Kentucky, Charlyne spent her life dedicated to empowering and nurturing the minds of her students in the field of education throughout her career. Her unfaltering passion for learning and teaching touched the lives of countless individuals, and she will be remembered for her compassionate spirit and unwavering commitment to her family and community.

A memorial service in her honor will be held at James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 1:00 PM, with a family hour preceding the service at 12:30 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate Charlyne's life, sharing cherished memories and expressions of love in the place that meant so much to her.
