Mr. Chase Spratlin

Chase Dean "Beaver" Spratlin, 61, of Monroe, Georgia, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026, with his lifelong partner of 28 years, Patrick Butler, by his side.

Known for his vibrant personality and one-of-a-kind spirit, Chase lived life with unmatched energy, leaving behind countless memories of laughter, love, and joy. Born on April 20, 1964, in Atlanta, Georgia, Chase was the beloved son of the late Dean and Nancy Moses Spratlin. He grew up surrounded by a large and loving family, including his surviving siblings: Carol Dean Davis, Ansley Zeitler, Frank Spratlin, Tyler Spratlin (Elizabeth), Chandler Spratlin (Margaret), and Boys Spratlin (Susan), many cousins, neices and nephews, extended family and cherished friends.

Chase's life was defined by his warmth and flair-he had an unmistakable presence that drew people in. Whether working passionately in landscaping, watching his favorite football teams, or spending sunny afternoons on the tennis court, he approached everything with enthusiasm and heart. Known for his flashy style and quick wit, Chase's charisma illuminated every gathering. His passions took him far and wide, from the lively streets of Memphis to the laid-back beauty of Key West, his favorite travel destinations.

Music, especially the songs of Elvis Presley, filled his days with joy, and his deep love for his pets: dogs (Buddy, Presley and Aaron), cats (Louie, Pickles and Stella) and bird (Big Bird), showed his gentle spirit and compassion. Chase will be remembered as a man who lived fully and loved deeply-a friend, brother, and partner whose energy could fill any room. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor and celebrate Chase's remarkable life and the love he shared so freely at both the Celebration of Life with Colors and Memorial Mass. Chase's journey through life was one of color, passion, and joy-and he left this world as he lived in it, with love beside him. His prescence here on this earth will be terribly missed, but he will remain forever in our hearts and minds!

A Celebration of Life Service "With Colors" will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 29, 2026 in the Chapel of Young-Levett Funeral Home, 129 W. Washington Street, Monroe, GA.

A Memorial Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 31, 2026 at St. Anna's Catholic Church, 1401 Alcovy Street, Monroe, GA 30655.
