SPRING-Kathryn "Kathie" Spring, age 77 of Monroe, GA, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026. Kathie was born on December 11, 1948 in Buffalo, New York. Kathie was a beloved wife of 43 years, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an active member of St. Mary Our Mother Catholic Church in Horseheads, NY for over 40 years and most recently a member of St. Anna's Catholic Church in Monroe. Kathie was an avid reader and animal lover who especially enjoyed dog training, breeding, showing conformation, obedience, and agility training for many decades. She had a tender heart for animals that required rehabilitation. Kathie was a member of several National Kennel and Obedience Clubs; and local clubs in both Georgia and New York where she held many leadership positions. What Kathie enjoyed most was being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She took pride in watching her grandchildren's athletic and musical events. Kathie was preceded in death by her parents, Stanislaus and Mary Mardel, and husband, David Spring. She is survived by her sister, Susan (Frank) Silleman; children, Tina Spring, Laura (Douglas) Price, Sara (Jeffrey) Dibling, and David (Allyson) Spring; grandchildren, Victoria (Cody) Johnson, Ashley (Jonathan) Wolfe, Ava Dibling, and Calvin, Aiden, and Ezra Spring; great-grandchildren, Zhane, Hailey, and Dodge Johnson, and Darcy and Wells Wolfe; and nephew, Thomas (Melissa) Parry, Jr. A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM February 16, 2026 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Loganville. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Anna's Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 17th at 10 AM. Arrangements by Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 670 Tom Brewer Road, Loganville, GA 30052. 770-466-1544.
