Chasity KellyMarie Johnson, 46, of Altoona, PA, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, unexpectedly at her home.

She was born on November 30,1979 in Butler, PA, a daughter of the late Richard Johnson and Cecelia Johnson of Holiday, FL. She attended several schools in Corry and graduated from Union City High School in 1998.

Chasity especially loved helping others, camping, animals, movies and reading. Once a foster child, her dreams were to become a caseworker, until her health declined.

In addition to her mother, Chasity is survived by two brothers, Richard II and John C. Johnson; four sisters, Cheryl (Jeff) Stahlman, Suzette Kettenhofen, H. Michele (Cliff) Geer, and Angela Walton; 15 nieces and nephews; foster sister, Tasha B.; birth siblings, Maria and Neal Galore and dear friend, Debra Reed.

She had a smile that could warm the world. She will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be held privately by the family.

Interment will be at a later date in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lutheran Section, Corry, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Epilepsy Society at www.aesnet.org, Shriners Children's Hospital at www.donate.lovetotherescue.org or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
