Chassity “Chazz” Dawn Hamilton, age 47 of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025. She was born March 22, 1978 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of Deloris (Prater) Clerico and husband Paul of Bellefontaine, Ohio and the late Thomas Gibson. Throughout her life, Chazz was known for her good heart and vibrant personality. She had a particular passion for gardening, where she found joy in nurturing plants and watching them thrive. Chazz dedicated many years of her life to working in the tobacco industry. She cherished her time spent on the farm. Chazz stood out for her talkative nature and love of flashy things, which brought a unique charm to her interactions with others. Besides her father in 2010, she was preceded in death by her husband - Wade Hamilton in 2016 and father and mother-in-law – Jack and Geneva Hamilton.
Mrs. Hamilton is survived by four children – Daniel Molen of Huber Heights, Ohio, Thomas Hamilton, Theodore “Ted” Hamilton and Danyelle Coppedge and husband Cory all of Felicity, Ohio; four grandchildren; two sisters – Theresa Gibson of Janesville, Wisconsin and Stephanie Holsinger of Portsmouth, Ohio; three aunts – Regina Grant and husband Mark of Dayton, Ohio, Joyce Armstrong of Louisville, Kentucky and Cathy Slusher of Hazard, Kentucky and five nieces and nephews – Hannah Clements of West Union, Ohio, Angel Hesler of Portsmouth, Ohio, Dakota Hesler of Amelia, Ohio, Justin Hesler of Blue Creek, Ohio, and Lisa Schroeder of Janesville, Wisconsin.
There will be no services. The Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio is serving the family.
