Chawn Stepp Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Reflection Cremation & Funeral Service - Tifton on Apr. 14, 2025.
Chawn "Niki" Stepp, born Puckett, passed away on April 10, 2025, in Ocilla, Georgia, at the age of 49. Born on July 7, 1975, in Atlanta, Georgia, Niki brought warmth and compassion into the lives of all who knew her. Niki was married to Richard Stepp and a loving mother to her daughter Brittany Adams and son Jacob Puckett. She shared a close bond with her son-in-law Brandon Adams and found immense joy in being a grandmother to Audrey, Joseph, and McKinnley. Her love for her grandchildren was deep and unwavering-a source of pride and happiness that lit up her life. She was the cherished daughter of Virginia Diane Puckett and the late Edward Puckett. Niki's siblings-Malinda "Kelly" Puckett; Melissa Adkison and her husband Justin; Tammy Gan and her husband Andy; Susan Jenkins and her husband Bill; and Robert Cone and his wife Lisa-shared many memories with her through the years. She also held close in her heart the memory of her brother in heart Rodney Adkison. Niki's extended family included numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who were touched by her generous spirit. She was known for being warm-hearted and always ready to lend a helping hand. Her kindness left an indelible mark on those around her. Throughout her life, Niki remained steadfast in her love for family. Her presence brought comfort during difficult times and joy during celebrations. She believed in cherishing the good moments above all else-a sentiment she wished others would carry forward in remembrance of her. In honor of Niki's courageous battle with ovarian cancer, she asked that everyone remember this disease-not just in sorrow but as a call to awareness. She urged all to tell the women in their lives to be vigilant about their health. Her message is clear: never forget ovarian cancer. May Chawn "Niki" Stepp's memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. As Niki requested, there will be no traditional funeral. Her daughter and sister, Susan, will announce on Facebook when a memorial party has been planned
