Chaz David Kenlay

Chaz David Kenlay left this world unexpectedly on August 24, 2025, at just 36 years of age, and will be missed dearly by all who loved him. Chaz is the son of Bruce and Kimberly (Foss) Kenlay and grew up in Woodridge, IL.

Chaz was an easygoing guy who found joy in life's simple pleasures. He grew up playing travel baseball and carried a lifelong passion for sports. As a true sports junkie, Chaz watched and attended many Blackhawks and White Sox games. He was also a 4 time Fantasy Football Champ and was looking forward to his 5th win! Chaz found the love of his life, Angela, 13 years ago. Chaz, Angela and Dex were the perfect match, and now a big piece of that is missing. Some of his happiest moments were weekend getaways spent fishing and watching deer with his mom and Angela in Woodhaven, catching sports games with his dad, Wisconsin trips with Angela and her parents and going to concerts with friends. Chaz always looked forward to summer vacations with family and time spent on the beach and in the water. He loved fishing rivers for the big fish, hiking at Starved rock, all types of music, playing video and computer games with friends, and time shared with family.

For the past 10 years, Chaz was an extremely dedicated employee at The Label Printers in Aurora. Chaz began in the warehouse after being referred there by his uncle Dave. Through his hard work and commitment to excellence, Chaz quickly advanced, ultimately becoming the Shipping and Material Handling Supervisor. He was recognized by his coworkers and the company, receiving multiple nominations and recognition as, Employee of the Month. Chaz was very well liked at work and made many long-term work friends. In addition to his work, he also knew how to play, competing and being a finalist in several company bags tournaments.

He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Kim Kenlay; the love of his life, Angela Belpedio; best friend, Trinity (Daniel) Price; great-aunt and uncle, Darlene (Allyn) Briggs; aunt, Kyle Rickles; and beloved cousins Ross, Jared, Tyler, CB, Preston (Florencia), Angela (Chris), and Tanya. He is also survived by several more aunts, uncle, cousins, countless friends, and his spoiled and loving dog, Dex.

Chaz was preceded in death by his uncle David and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Downers Grove VFW, 5101 Belmont Rd., Downers Grove, IL 60515.
