Chelyn Cedotal Obituary
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Samart Funeral Home of Houma in Bayou Blue, in her honor on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 9:00 am until the Memorial Service at 11:00 am.
She is survived by her mother, Deirdre E. Blanchard; step-mother, Mary D. Cedotal; grandmother, Betty L. Cedotal; siblings, Brandi Leigh Charpentier, Charles J. Cunningham III (Holli), and Tonya C. Smith (Terry); and aunts and uncles, Marla Guillot (Dean), Rochelle Blanchard, D'Wanna Ford, Jonathan Blanchard, Darrely C. Hutson (Ray), Bernard R. Cedotal, Tammy E. Cedotal, Edward J. Cedotal, Melissa C. Giandelone (Lane), and Jeremy A. Cedotal.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jeffrey Joseph Cedotal; grandparents, Edward J. 'Pookie' Cedotal, Ronald P. Blanchard, and Cecile M. Crochet; and her uncles, Mark D. Blanchard and Nicholas P. Blanchard.
Chelyn loved the beach, outdoor activities and nature. She also enjoyed crocheting, landscaping and creative writing. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.

Fly high my beautiful friend!!! You are missed. You were one of my first female friends in sobriety. Ill never forget all the tears, laughter, and most importantly blue berry pie!! Love you always!
