Linda was proud to be a Terrebonne Parish School bus driver for 10 years. She and her husband enjoyed many years of selling seafood at their business SEAGO. Especially selling thousands of pounds of crawfish on Good Friday and Easter weekend. Linda was born in New Orleans on November 18, 1947, and made her home in Houma, La.
She left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Chad Eschete and Arthur "Tiger" Eschete Jr. (Trina); two sisters, Sue Chauvin (Totsy) and Brenda Huffman (Donnie); grandchildren, Trevor Eschete and Heather Eschete McCullen; and daughter in law, Shannon Eschete Boquet.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Arthur Eschete; father, Junius Joseph Rogers Sr. of Eagle Island; mother, Ruby Mae Whitney Rogers of Houma; and five brothers, Junius Joseph Jr., Glenn, Errol, Craig and Gerrard.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Samart Funeral Home (635 Bayou Blue Rd.) from 12:00 PM until service time. A religious service will begin at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Roger's Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the Staff of Chateau Terrebonne for making her return to Houma, a pleasant one.
