Danny Eschete Obituary
Danny J. Eschete, 69, a native of Larose, LA and a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at St. Hilary of Poitier Catholic Church, Raceland, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Rebecca “Becky” Eschete; sons, Christopher Eschete, Kyle Eschete (Theresa) and David Eschete (Saydie); grandchildren, Lauren, JamieLee, Thomas, Paul and one on the way; sister, Penny Arcement (Tim); nieces, Hillari and Hailli; nephews, Grant and Nick.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Mae Eschete and his niece/godchild, Tika Arcement.
Danny worked for the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office for 33 years.
