Cheng Gu Obituary
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Cheng Shi Gu, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 92.
Born in China, Cheng Shi was a dedicated family man with kindness and compassion for his loved ones. He shared a deep and loving bond with his beloved wife, Bei Min Zhang, who always stood by his side through life's journeys.
Cheng Shi touched the lives of many through his career as an educator, leaving a lasting impact through his wisdom and generosity. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by his family, friends, students and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A service to honor and celebrate his life will be held on February 9, 2025, Sunday at 1:00 pm at Ahlgrim & Son Funeral Home, 330 West Golf Road, Schaumburg, IL 60195. A Luncheon will be held after the funeral.
May he rest peacefully, and may his love always stay with us.
