Cheow Ping Lee-Lam

Cheow Ping Lee Lam, of Phoenix, AZ, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, surrounded by her family, at the age of 96. She was born on November 4, 1928 in Penang, Malaysia, a daughter to the late Lee Kok Hian and Choong Fee Lan. She was the wife of the late Joon Ngian Lam.
Cheow was an incredible cook and baker, as well as an artist gifted in painting, crafts, and Chinese calligraphy.
She is lovingly remembered by her children and their spouses, Phin and Steve Luk, Sheong and Yew Onn Chan, and Joshua and Jillian Lam; her grandchildren, Stephanie Luk, Christine Chan (and her husband Mark Tsang), Jeremy Chan, Janice Chan (and her husband Cody Berumen), Jordan Lam and Evan Lam; and her great-grandchildren, Noah Tsang and Ellie Tsang.
Her warmth, and kindness reflected her faith and love for God. We take comfort in knowing she is now in her eternal home, at peace in the Lord's presence.
A memorial service will be held at the chapel in Best Funeral Services, 501 E Dunlap Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85020 on Saturday, November 15.
