Cherish L. Ankers

Cherish Lynn Ankers, 33, a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on July 29, 2024. She was born on September 13, 1990, in Evansville, Indiana. Known for her free spirit, she was affectionately called a "Bougie Holistic Hippie" by those who knew and loved her.
Cherish's love for nature was unparalleled. She found peace and joy in the great outdoors, she loved hiking through the Smoky Mountains or enjoying the sandy shores of Panama City Beach with her beloved family. Her two children were her world, and she loved every moment spent with them.
Cherish attended North High School; she then pursued her entrepreneurial spirit by running her own successful business, Ankers Cleaning Service. Her dedication and hard work were evident in every aspect of her life, from her family to her business.
Cherish's vibrant personality and boundless love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on through the beautiful moments and memories she created with her family and friends.
Cherish is survived by her loving husband Aaron Ankers and adored children Isaiah and Celeigh; parents William Scott Virgil and Angela Goodall; grandmother Mary Kough; sister Shannon Scott; sister-in-law Sarah Hills and brother-in-law Josh Hills; nephews Aiden, Little John, and Blake; and numerous loving extended family and friends.
Cherish was preceded in death by her grandfather Earnest Goodall and her aunt Roxanna Lowe.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024 from 11am-1pm at the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Sunset Funeral Home.
