Tewksbury - Cheryl A. (Welch) Corbett, 63, a Tewksbury resident, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston surrounded by her loving family.
She was the loving wife of William J. Corbett, Jr., with whom she shared 35 years of marriage. She was the beloved mother of Vincent A. Corbett who passed in 2018.
Cheryl was born in Medford on June 6, 1962, a daughter of the late Richard A. Welch, Sr. and Louise V. (Nunziato) Welch of Winchester who survives her.
She was a graduate of Medford High School and Fisher Junior College.
Cheryl was employed as an administrative assistant for most of her career at State Street Bank.
In addition to her husband and mother, she leaves a brother and his wife, Richard A. Welch, Jr. and Kristine (Lee) Welch of Winchester; sister-in-law Dot Corbett of Saugus, two nephews and a niece, Ricky, Ryan and Jenna Welch, all of Winchester; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She also leaves behind her adoring four legged friends, Finn and Fritz.
Cheryl’s joy was spending time with her family, especially doting on her son Vincent. She also shared many special memories growing up with her Uncle Bobby and Aunt Joanie and cousins LeeAnn and Susan.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Saturday, December 6, from 8 until 10 AM at the McKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street. Her Funeral will follow at 11:30 AM in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 118 High Street, Medford. Burial will take place on Monday, December 8 at 10 AM in the Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East Street, Tewksbury.
