Cheryl Ann Brandner, age 69, of Medford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Marshfield Medical Center on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Cheryl was born on May 2, 1956, the daughter of Joseph and Elaine (Molitor) Dowden in Medford. She graduated from Medford High School. On June 4, 1976, Cheryl was united in marriage to the love of her life, David Brandner in Medford. She worked as a Teacher's Aide at the Medford Elementary School, a Nurse's Aide at the Medford Hospital and at Wal-Mart.
Family was the center of Cheryl's life. She was the best wife, mother and grandmother a family could have. Her grandchildren and great-granddaughter gave her lots of love and joy.
Cheryl is survived by her husband of 49 years, David; her four children: Chad (Robin) Brandner of Green Bay, Mitchell (Mary) Brandner of Oconto, Angela (Travis) Blume of Stetsonville and Bridget Brandner (Dominic Heier) of Medford; 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, Lorelei Heier. She is further survived by her six siblings: Linda (Rusty) Dake, Joseph (Donna) Dowden, David (Lori) Dowden, Diane (Ricky) Prein, Gail (Kevin) Baumgartner and Rick (Tracy) Dowden; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mary Dowden.
