Cheri Lynn Pinkerton Flud passed from this life on February 25, 2026, at the age of 67 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Cheri was born on May 1, 1958, in Pawnee, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Wayne E and Letha Dean (Richardson) Pinkerton. Cheri grew up and attended school in Sperry, Owasso, and graduated from Hominy High School in 1976. Following high school, she attended Tri-County Tech in Bartlesville for nursing. After completing nursing school, Cheri worked at Jane Phillips Hospital and Hominy Hospital. Cheri then began working at Safeway in Bartlesville and continued there for over 20 years. When she retired, Cheri was the front-end manager at Homeland.
Cheri always enjoyed reading her Bible and her daily devotion. She also liked going fishing, gardening, and tending to her dogs and turtles. However, her favorite thing to do was be with her family, children, and especially her grandkids. Going to the lake, camping, shopping, attending football games, and family vacations were always highlights.
Survivors are her two daughters, Casey Lucy of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Carie Beth Chevalley, and her fiancé, Dakota, of Ponca City, Oklahoma; siblings Kennard Bales, Debbie Pinkerton, and Lisa Pinkerton; sister-in-law Maleesa Pinkerton; three grandchildren, Jadyn, Rian, and Liam; and a host of other relatives and friends. Cheri was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne Pinkerton and Letha Pinkerton, stepmother Alma Pinkerton, and brother Kevin Pinkerton, son-in-law Kiel Lucy.
