Cheryl A. Granger, 66, of Shiocton, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 11, 2024 with her family by her side. Cheryl was born on March 2, 1957 in Rhinelander, to the late Robert Sr. and Madeline (Alsteen) Minder and she married Richard Granger Sr. on April 19, 1975 in Sparta.
Cheryl worked as a certified nursing assistant at various nursing homes in the Tomahawk area. In her free time, she loved collecting Native American cultural items including wolves, roses and bears. She enjoyed attending country music concerts, singing karaoke, and playing pool, but most of all, she loved traveling and vacations with her family.
Cheryl will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Richard, of nearly 49 years; her four children, Richard Granger, Jr., Christina Granger, Adam (Leslie) Granger, and Gloria (Ken Sr.) Olson; 15 grandchildren, Richard III, Paige, Shawna, Jenny, Seth, Mary, Kenny, Anthony, Marissa, Devin, Adam, Josette, Ethan, Kierra, and Brooklynn; great grandchildren, Richard IV, Tristan, Jasmine, Braelynn, Anthony Jr., baby Brynlee, and five others; three brothers, Rick Alsteen, Howard (Terry) Miller, and Robert (Dar) Minder Jr.; along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Sr. and Madeline, as well as her sister, Gloria (Orville) Turgeon.
To honor Cheryl's wishes, Private Family Services will be held.
