Cheryl L. Hackett, age 73, of Utica passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at the Laurels of Mount Vernon.
She was born on September 24, 1951, in Washington County, Ohio to the late James and Patricia (Montgomery) Klintworth. Cheryl was a member of the Grace Pointe Church in Utica. She enjoyed painting and gardening. But most of all she loved the time she spent with her family.
She is survived by her son Michael (Jamadon) Beever; five grandchildren, Braedon (Tessa) Taylor, Gavin Taylor, Gabriel Taylor, Michael Beever, Jayla (Darrell) Walton; four great grandchildren, Elias Taylor, Georgia Taylor, Maximus Beever, Aurora Walton; and her son-in-law Walter Taylor.
In addition to her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by her daughter Melissa Taylor; and five brothers, Elmer Klintworth, Anthony Klintworth, James Klintworth, Mike Klintworth, and John Klintworth.
In keeping with Cheryl's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 12:00 - 3:00 PM at the Grace Pointe Church of Utica (892 E. Columbus Rd, Utica, Ohio 43080)
