Cheryl Harris Obituary

Cheryl was born May 18, 1954 at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the daughter of the late Shelly Butler Bowman and the late Sue Blair Bowman. She was a Military wife and homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family. She also like the quietness of going fishing at the lake. Cheryl was a member of Christ Freedom Church in Hiram.
Cheryl is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard Ernest Harris of Dallas, children, Staci (Stephen) Lindsey of Dallas, Star Hicks of Dallas, John Paul (Tina) Harris of Hiram, Mary Beth Westamire of Dallas, Peter (Kelley) Harris of Dallas, siblings, Cindi Camp of New Hope, Darry Bowman of Dallas, thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 9, 2025 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at J. Collins Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be conducted Monday, November 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of J. Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Downey officiating.
Interment will be held in Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 10:30 AM with Dalton Hicks, Eli Hicks, Wade Brown, Dekota Lindsley, Wyatt Harris and Dewayne Hicks serving as pallbearers.
