Cheryl James Cook Obituary

Published by Legacy on Feb. 17, 2023.
Age 71, of Elk River. Rejoined her Valentine on February 14, 2023.
Cheri was born on September 24, 1951 in Saint Paul, Minnesota to William and Phyllis James. She married Vilroy "Willie" Cook on September 11, 1971. They went on to have 3 children, Troy (Angela) Cook, Keith (Keri) Cook, and Tricia (John) Schlichting and 14 grandchildren, Spencer, Adam, Harper, Sidney, Avery, Mason, Hunter, Chris, MaKenzie, Austen, Keve, Seri, Hailey, and Robby.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, between Minnesota and West Virginia and the meeting with the "Widow's Club" after Willie passed in 2017. We are sad to lose her, but happy she is with her one true love once again.
Cheri is survived by her children, grandchildren, and siblings, Diane and Renee.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband; parents, sisters, Terri and Linda.
Memorial service at 11:00AM on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Christian Reformed Church, 117 W Main St, Pease, MN 56363, with a gathering starting at 10:00AM.
