Obituary of Andrew James Cook
Andrew James Cook, 29 of Chisago City, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Regions Hospital in St Paul. Andrew was born in Minneapolis on October 27, 1992 to Carl and Karen Cook. He is a Waconia High School graduate of 2011 and attended 4 years at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks studying Chemical Engineering. Andrew enjoyed online gaming, sharing his opinions and traveling extensively during his youth.
He is survived by his parents Carl Cook (Salem, OR) and Karen Cook (St Paul, MN) brothers Christopher Cook of (Syracuse, UT), Nicholas Cook (Dickinson, ND) Aunt Barbara Knuston (St Louis Park), Uncle Richard (Diane) Knutson of St Louis Park, cousins Alena Coomes of (Ravensdale, WA), Edmund Coomes of (Seattle, WA), Carla Lund of (Minnetonka) and Erik Lund of ( Hopkins).
He is preceded in death by Grandparents Kenneth and Elizabeth "Peggy" Knutson, Grandparents Eleanor and Conrad Cook, Aunt Catherine (Cook) Emery and cousin Julian Knutson.
An informal memorial gathering will be on Monday, January 3, 2022 from 3-6 pm at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4343 Nicollet Ave S, Minneapolis, MN. Private interment at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis.

Andrew was an organ, eye and tissue donor and helped at least 30 people and up to 40!
