La Manna, Cheryl Ellen, 62 of Warrenton, MO passed away on September 30, 2025 at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, MO surrounded by family.

Cheryl was born on February 1, 1963 in Santa Monica, CA to Edwin K. and Alida B. Bush. Cheryl grew up in San Fernando Valley California and graduated from Huntington Beach High School in 1981. After graduation Cheryl attended Pepperdine University where she graduated Cum Laude with her degree in accounting. She later attended Cal State University at Fullerton where she received her Master's degree in Mathematics Education. Cheryl worked for Peat, Marwick, Mitchell as a CPA for several years before stepping down to raise her two beautiful daughters, Holly and Sally.

Cheryl was a loving and supportive mother who would do anything for her girls. She loved watching them grow up and become adults. Cheryl was united in marriage to John "Jake" La Manna on June 9, 2015 and they celebrated 10 wonderful years together. Cheryl loved traveling and was able to check off a lot of the National Parks throughout her life, she was a great pianist and loved going on float trips with her husband Jake. Cheryl had a green thumb and couldn't wait for spring time to come so she could start working in her flower gardens. Cheryl had a strong Faith in God and remained faithful to God even through some of the toughest times in life. She knew God was on her side and he would carry her thru anything.

Cheryl is survived by her loving husband John "Jake" La Manna, daughters, Holly Alida French and her partner Scott Brenstuhl, Sally Ann French and her husband Hamilton Nguyen; father, Edwin Kenneth Bush, step-mother, Rose Ann Bush; step-children, Megan Lee La Manna, and Nicholas John LaManna and his wife Anna; grandson, Henrich Nicholas La Manna; sister, Coleen Grace Olmsted and her husband Mike; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her mother, Alida Belle Bush; brother, Dennis Edwin Bush and his wife Rebecca.

Funeral Services will be private.

Memorial donations can be made to American Cancer Society in care of Pitman Funeral Home P.O. Box 126 Warrenton, MO 63383.

I was so sorry to hear about Cheryl's illness and passing. She was in my Community Bible Study core group in 2019-2020. She was a delightful person with a solid faith in Jesus. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.
