David Martin Obituary
David was born June 14, 1949 in Evansville, IN to the late George Edward and Kathleen Violet Martin nee Thomas.
Dave served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was united in marriage to Christine James on August 26, 1995 and they celebrated 30 years together.
Dave was a horse and doberman pinschers lover and raised Appaloosa horses. He was a car enthusiast, enjoyed working on and painting old muscle cars, fast cars and loved driving them even faster. In his spare time Dave loved going camping with church buddies, watching game shows especially the Price is Right and going to car shows. Dave was a member of Faith Christian Family Church and belonged to the S.A.L.T. group
Dave is survived by his beloved wife Christine Martin nee James of Warrenton, MO; daughter, Kathleen Martin of St. Louis, MO; brother, Anthony (partner-Henry Martin-Orth) Martin of Sun City, AZ; three nieces, Joy (Brian) Neal of Marion, IL, Denise (A.J.) Richard of Hurst, IL, Chrissy (Tom) Burgess of Hurst, IL; two great-nephews, Peyton Richard, Barin Neal; great-niece, Landyn Neal; two step-grandsons, Dylan (Katie) Hendrix of Fredericktown, MO, and Dustin Stidmon of Chicago, IL.
He is preceded in death by his father, George Edward Martin, mother, Kathleen Martin, step-daughter, Katie Gordon, brother, George Frederick Martin, brother, Ronald Edward Martin, step-granddaughter, Dakota Stidmon.
