Cheryl Lamberth Obituary

A native of Albany, Georgia, Cheryl was born September 25, 1945 to the late Bush Keaton Sheffield and the late Virginia Goolsby Sheffield.
Cheryl received her Master's Degree in Education and went on to teach high school English in Georgia and Florida. She was a friendly lady who loved people and always looked forward to meeting and connecting with new friends. Cheryl had been a resident of Haywood County for the past 50 years and was the owner of The Bar-B-Que Shak in Maggie Valley which she operated for 38 years. Her children proudly proclaim that she was "the best mom in the world" as well as being a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry Lamberth; and a brother, Phillip Sheffield.
Surviving are her children, Michelle Dixon of Maggie Valley and Alaycia Carver of South Carolina; grandchildren, Corey Dixon and Britney Dixon both of Cruso; and two great-grandchildren.
TO honor her request, no formals services will be held at this time.
