Cheryl Lee Lueth, age 78, of Columbus, Wisconsin passed away Tuesday August 19, 2025 in Columbus, following a long battle with Parkinson's.

Cheryl was born March 9, 1947 in Madison, Wisconsin to Donald and Fern (Rakow) Lumsten. She married her high school sweetheart, Terry C. Lueth in 1967.

Cheryl dedicated her life to helping others, she acquired her masters degree in nursing. She worked at various local hospitals for almost 50 years, her roles transitioned from working in the emergency room to nursing supervisor. Upon retirement her and Terry moved from Columbus to their home in White Creek.

Cheryl enjoyed traveling with her friends and family. She especially enjoyed her cross country trips with her husband Terry on his motorcycle. She was skilled in quilting and made many beautiful quilts for friends and family over the years. She loved to bake pies and cookies. Cheryl was also easily persuaded to head to the casino with her friends and family.

Memorials may be directed to Hillside Hospice and Home Care or to the family.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Fern, her husband Terry and Daughter In Law Deborah McIntyre.

Survivors include her son David of Fall River, daughter Cathy (Ross) Firary of Columbus, granddaughter April Lueth (Jason Jansma) of Fall River, along with many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Sue Schulze and Christine Othmer for all their help with Cheryl's care in the past few years. Also a special thanks to Hillside Hospice Care especially Brenda, Jessica, Shelly and Cindy for all their compassionate care they gave to Cheryl.
