Cheryl Dawn Lusk, 68, of Batesville, departed this life on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. She was born in Batesville, on June 21, 1957, to Earl Jackson Griffis and Rosie Mae Head Griffis.
Cheryl loved the outdoors and enjoyed taking care of her chickens and goats. During her lifetime she worked in retail stores and at Green’s Tax Services in Batesville.
She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Southside.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Doug, of the home; her sons, Brad (Tiffany) Lusk, of Salado, and Daniel (Blinda) Lusk, of Southside; her brothers, Jay (Regina) Griffis, of Southside, and Ronnie (Magaly) Griffis, of San Antonio, Texas; her sister, Jeanie Bunting, of Dardanelle, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Ezra, Elijah, Elliot, Ashlyn, Andrew; nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Carolyn Griffis.
A Memorial Service will be Monday, August 11, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Maple Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Shannon Fennell officiating.
