Cheryl Buckler Meagher, born January 30, 1949, in Covington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully surrounded by love. She was the cherished daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth and Russell Buckler.
Cheryl grew up in a close-knit family alongside her siblings, Sandy Buckler and Randy Buckler. She attended Elsmere Elementary School and later graduated from Lloyd Memorial High School. In later years, Cheryl moved with her family to Orlando, Florida, where she began a new chapter filled with opportunity and community.
Cheryl devoted 51 years of service to Orlando General Hospital in the pharmacy department; which later became known as Florida Hospital East Orlando and now AdventHealth East Orlando, where she was known for her dedication, caring and joyful spirit.
Her greatest pride and joy were her children, Terrin Meagher and Jerry Meagher, whom she loved deeply. Cheryl was a woman of strong faith who loved Jesus, her family, and her many beloved pets. She enjoyed sports and was an enthusiastic fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Orlando Magic, Cincinnati Reds, and Dale Earnhardt’s NASCAR racing team. She loved music, fried chicken, and never lost her playful sense of humor. She will be remembered for her generous heart, her devotion to God and family, and her warm personality. Her memory will live on in all who knew and loved her.
